Dale Pettenski caught this 17-inch small-mouth bass in the 1000 islands on a island ledge in 35ft of water just outside of Chippewa Bay just off the main river.

Bait/Technique: Dropshotting a 2nd tear ledge off a island in 35ft of water with swift current moving around it. Was using 10lb powerpro main line with a 8lb 100% berkley Flouro leader. Used a 3 inch green pumpkin/purple yum dinger wacky rigged hooked with a 1/0 gamakatsu dropshot hook using a 3/8 oz custom dropshot weight.
